BATTLE CREEK, Mich. – Scientific Games announced on Wednesday that they will be the sports betting provider for FireKeepers Casino in Michigan.
What To Expect From Scientific Games
At the FireKeepers Casino, Scientific Games will provide both a retail and online sportsbook. Since Michigan sports betting laws allow for statewide wagering, anyone in the state of Michigan can sign up for the mobile sportsbook.
Michigan does not have any restrictions for registration either. This means bettors who live far from Battle Creek can bet on sports just as easily as those who live near the casino.
On top of this, Scientific Games will provide other sports betting solutions for FireKeepers Casino. The company will keep track of sports betting data of those who use the sportsbook at FireKeepers. This will allow both companies to work together to provide the best sports betting experience they can provide in Michigan.

Legal sports betting is not available in Michigan at the moment. Sports betting in Michigan was legalized in late December. It will take some time before the rules and regulations are established and sportsbooks can launch.
Lawmakers and potential sportsbook providers are aiming to launch sports betting in the state in March. That would allow bettors to bet on March Madness games. Either way, FireKeepers Casino is preparing itself to provide sports betting to its customers.
