LAS VEGAS – Jennifer Roberts, who was a factor in bringing sports betting to Tennessee has announced that she is leaving the Volunteer State and is headed to Las Vegas to join GameCo LLC.
Roberts started with the Tennessee Lottery system on December 2 when a draft of the bill that would bring legal sports betting to Tennessee was made.
She was a crucial part of the legalization of TN SB 16 as she helped introduce rules and regulations for sports betting in the state.
With Roberts now leaving, Tennessee sports betting is set to launch very soon with a mobile-only sports betting market.
Before arriving in Tennessee, Roberts came from a background of gaming rules and regulations as she served as the associate director of the International Center for Gaming Regulation at UNLV.
Fast forward to now and Roberts is headed back to Sin City to become the Vice President and General Counsel member of GameCo LLC and will begin her position on Wednesday
