UniBet and the Philadelphia Eagles

  • Unibet and the Philadelphia Eagles have expanded their partnership to make the company an official sportsbook of the franchise.
  • The deal has grown to give Philadelphia fans more sports betting opportunities now that the NFL allows sportsbook partnerships.
  • Unibet is expanding in the US sports betting market and will have a platform in at least three more states by next year.

PHILADELPHIA, Penn. – Unibet, owned by Kindred Group, and the Philadelphia Eagles have extended their existing partnership to now include sports betting according to a press release on Thursday.

The multi-year deal between the two firms was made back in November 2019 and it allowed Unibet branding in Lincoln Financial Field stadium’s luxury suites and on the digital billboard during live games.

All Eagles’ websites, team publications and social media platforms are also branded by Kindred Group as a part of the initial deal that made Unibet the official casino partner.

“For us, this is an exciting add on to a very successful working relationship. This means that we can extend our collaboration with the Philadelphia Eagles and provide their fans with unique, innovative experiences throughout our partnership, which we hope will last for a long time,” said Arnas Janickas, VP Marketing US, Kindred Group.

The first launch of Unibet in the country came only weeks before the partnership with the Eagles and the sportsbook’s launch in Pennsylvania in November.

The NFL amended rules during the last offseason and allowed teams to sign legal sports betting agreements and partnerships. Now, Unibet will be able to be branded and marketed as the Philadelphia Eagles official sportsbooks partner.

“We are excited to grow our existing partnership with Unibet through new opportunities and initiatives,” said Catherine Carlson, Senior Vice President of Revenue and Strategy, Philadelphia Eagles. “It has been rewarding to work with Unibet over the past year and we look forward to a successful future with them.”

Outside of the Pennsylvania sports betting market, Unibet has launched its sports betting product in New Jersey and Indiana. The company has also signed a couple of deals that will allow its sportsbook to go live in other states by 2021 such as Iowa, Illinois, and Ohio.
