Week 7 UFL Betting Preview: Pick Brahmas, Panthers To Cover

SAN ANTONIO – Week 7 of the UFL season starts Friday night as the San Antonio Brahmas host the DC Defenders at 8 PM EST.

The Brahmas surprisingly beat the Defenders earlier in the season for their only win thus far, beating the Defenders in DC by a score of 24-18. Legal sports betting sites are forecasting a dominant win for DC, who currently sit at 4-2 compared to San Antonio’s 1-5 record.

However, bettors should approach with caution and consider picking the Brahmas to cover the lofty point spread.

Since last year’s inaugural UFL season, the Brahmas hold a 2-1 lead in head to head games against the Defenders with their only loss coming by a margin of six points.

DC has also been on a bit of a cold streak, losing two of their last three games and allowing over 30 points in each of their last two. The Defenders’ offense has scored over 20 points just twice in six games.

Though the Brahmas have been bad this season, they have had the Defenders’ number historically and should be able to keep this game close.

Panthers vs Renegades Game Odds

The Michigan Panthers will visit the Arlington Renegades on Saturday afternoon in one of the more intriguing games of the weekend.

The Panthers currently sit at 4-2, tied for the best record in the league while the Renegades are just one game back at 3-3.

Michigan at -3.0 is great value and it could be argued that the line should be even higher, as the Panthers have scored 26 or more points in each of their last four games en route to a 3-1 stretch.

The Panthers have played just two games on the road this season, going 1-1 in those games, but scored at least 26 points in each game.

The Renegades have been a true Jekyll and Hyde team, with three games scoring over 30 points and three games scoring 11 or less. All three of those games in which they scored 30 or more points came at home.

They have a 3-1 home record so far this season. However, two of their three wins at home came against bottom three teams in the league.
