FORT WORTH, Texas – The Charles Schwab Challenge kicks off Thursday at the Colonial Country Club as the PGA Tour heads to Texas.

Legal sports betting sites list Scottie Scheffler as the considerable favorite with +230 odds, followed by Daniel Berger at +2200.

Charles Schwab Challenge Odds

  • Scottie Scheffler +230
  • Daniel Berger +2200
  • Jordan Spieth +2500
  • Tommy Fleetwood +2500
  • Hideki Matsuyama +2800
  • Aaron Rai +3000

Scheffler has 15 PGA Tour victories in his career, including two during the 2025 season. He has placed top 10 in seven of his 10 outings this year and has made the cut and finished top 25 in each appearance this season.

Scheffler won each of his last two events, both the CJ Cup Byron Nelson and the PGA Championship.

Daniel Berger has 4 career PGA Tour wins. The 32 year old has participated in 13 events this year and finished top 25 in nine of them.

Jordan Spieth is one of the more notable names in the field. Spieth has 13 career PGA Tour wins, but has yet to win an event this year.

He has finished top 10 just three times in 12 events this year and finished top 25 in just six.

Tommy Fleetwood has yet to win an event in his career at 34 years old. The Englishman has finished in the top 25 in eight of his ten appearances this year, while finishing top 10 in three of them.

Hideki Matsuyama earned one of his 11 PGA Tour victories this season at The Sentry. It was his only top 10 finish in his 12 appearances this season, though he has finished in the top 25 seven times.

Aaron Rai has won a single PGA Tour event in his career back in August of 2024 during the Wyndham Championship. He has finished in the top 10 just once in 13 events this year, but has made the cut in 11 of those 13 appearances.

Though Scheffler is the favorite, he will face some stiff competition in this field and is still just +230 at PGA betting sites, meaning it could be anyone’s event.

Look for the experienced Spieth to make a run, as well as Daniel Berger as someone to keep an eye out for.
