DALLAS – The Dallas Wings will get their first crack at the reigning WNBA Champions, New York Liberty, on Monday Night at home, where they are going in as significant underdogs on the gameline.
There is an 8.5-point spread set ahead of tip-off on legal sports betting. This is a decent spot to back Dallas at home as a significant underdog, all things considered. Mainly the returns on their end and injuries for the Liberty.
New York Liberty Vs. Dallas Wings
- Liberty -8.5 -105
- Wings +8.5 -115
Stewart’s Injury Impacts Game Outlook
The biggest impact going into this game on Monday Night is the injury to Breanna Stewart for the Liberty. Stewie suffered a leg injury just three minutes into their last game against the Los Angeles Sparks in a game they ended up losing 101-99. She has already been ruled out of Monday’s game vs. the Wings.
Breanna Stewart had imaging done on her right leg which showed she avoided significant injury after exiting last night’s game, per @madkenney.

Having lost Stewart and now coming off of a close loss without her in their last outing, the Liberty are in a tough spot going on the road here, and bettors should capitalize on this at WNBA betting sites.
To make matters even worse for New York, the Wings are returning to the lineup Myisha Hines-Allen, Maddy Siegrist, and Paige Bueckers.
As far as the numbers go between the two, the Wings are not far off from New York, and without Stewie in the lineup, they should be able to capitalize on this.
On offense, Dallas has a -6.1 scoring margin on the season to New York as they average 81.8 ppg to the Liberty’s 87.9 ppg. Dallas also has an even -5 margin in their overall point differential as they allow opponents to score 85.8 ppg.
With the Liberty coming off of a loss and losing Stewart, and Dallas returning Bueckers and company at home, bettors can trust the Wings to hold on here for a competitive game.
