- WNBA betting sites have set a 6.5-point spread in favor of the Liberty over the Fever.
- The Liberty have covered 6.5 points in six straight games.
- There is no optimistic news on Caitlin Clark’s status against the Liberty.
INDIANAPOLIS – Saturday could mark a potential return for Caitlin Clark during the Indiana Fever’s matchup with the defending WNBA Champions, the New York Liberty. Whether Clark plays or not, the Liberty are still seen as the favorites to win on the road.
The Liberty are easily the strongest team in the WNBA to this point as the only undefeated team at 9-0 going into Saturday’s matchup. That said, legal sports betting sites are continuing to lie on them with a 6.5-point spread in their favor.

Take Liberty To Cover Regardless Of Clark’s Availability
It’s safe to say that WNBA odds have the lines set for this game as if Clark will play as 6.5 points on the spread is their lowest spread total in their last six games.
Sticking with the Liberty’s last six games, they’ve been terrorizing opponents having won all six since their last meeting with the Fever. They’ve won four of the six by double digits and are 4-2 against their set spread in those games as well. They’ve covered a -6.5-point spread in five of those games. On the season, the Liberty have covered -6.5 points on the spread in seven of their nine wins.
Caitlin Clark Injury Update Vs. Liberty
Unfortunately, while the odds are suggesting that Clark could make her return against the Liberty, there aren’t many optimistic reports out that suggest Clark could make her return. The only update came from Fever coach, Stephanie White, who says Clark and Sophie Cunningham are getting limited reps in practice.

It’s safe to say that if Clark does not get in a full practice during Friday’s practice, she will not play. With Clark sidelines, the Fever have gone 2-3.
