FanDuel Secures Missouri Entry with CITY SC Partnership
  • FanDuel secured a license to operate a mobile sportsbook in Missouri via a partnership with St. Louis CITY SC after Circa and DraftKings recently claimed major sports betting licenses.
  • Missouri’s online sports wagering market is set to launch in December

ST. LOUISFanDuel has announced a partnership with St. Louis CITY SC that will allow the sports betting company to launch in Missouri when the state’s regulated sports betting sites go live on December 1, 2025.

FanDuel, alongside DraftKings and Circa Sports, are the platforms that secured licenses for operating mobile sports betting sites in Missouri.

FanDuel President of Sports Mike Raffensperger said via press release:

“Missouri is home to some of the most passionate sports fans in the country, and we are thrilled to partner with St. Louis CITY SC to introduce our industry-leading product to the Show Me State… We look forward to supporting the team and engaging with the community as we bring America’s #1 Sportsbook to fans across Missouri.”

This license with St. Louis City SC allows FanDuel to enter the sports betting market in Missouri despite failing to secure a license with the MO Gaming Commission when licenses were originally awarded.

Missouri has only two untethered licenses, which allow for legal sports betting sites to operate without partnering with an in-state professional team or a casino.

Although FanDuel was not one of the sportsbooks to secure an untethered license, this deal is a strong pivot from the mobile betting platform’s original deal.
