Is Bitcoin Cash Still an Option at Betting Sites?

Yes. Six sportsbooks take Bitcoin Cash deposits today, each confirmed on its own cashier, help or banking page as of August 2026. Bovada, BetOnline, MyBookie, Everygame, BetNow and BookMaker.eu are the six. The seventh book checked, GTBets, still turns up in older Bitcoin Cash roundups, but its site has stopped taking new sign-ups, so it comes off the list here instead of sitting there as stale data.

  • Cost is the whole pitch. Bitcoin Cash clears the network for a fraction of a cent, while a Bitcoin deposit can cost you several dollars in fees when the chain is busy, and that gap is the reason to prefer BCH.
  • Coverage isn’t permanent. Sportsbooks have quietly dropped smaller, older coins from their cashiers before, so treat these six as confirmed today and not promised for next year.
  • No state-licensed sportsbook takes Bitcoin Cash into a wagering balance anywhere in the US. One narrow exception exists, and it runs on a different coin.
  • The coin never touches a bet. The second a Bitcoin Cash deposit lands, the book converts it to dollars in its own ledger, and every wager, win and withdrawal after that runs in USD.

Already holding BCH? Send it. The fees are close to nothing and six books will credit it. Picking a coin from scratch is a closer call, and the tables below make the case both ways.

Where to Bet With Bitcoin Cash

Six sportsbooks confirm Bitcoin Cash as a deposit method on their own cashier, help or banking pages, checked directly in August 2026. GTBets still shows up in older Bitcoin Cash roundups and doesn’t belong there anymore, since its site isn’t accepting new sign-ups. A coin listed at a book that won’t open you an account is no use to anyone trying to deposit today.

Bovada prices its minimum in coin, 0.001 BCH, while the other five publish a dollar figure. Where a cell reads not published, the book doesn’t state that figure anywhere on its own pages, and you shouldn’t assume it from what a different coin gets.

These are offshore sportsbooks, available to bettors in most US states. None is licensed by a US state gaming commission, and no marketing copy on any of their sites changes that.

Bitcoin Cash at Regulated Sportsbooks

No state-licensed and regulated sportsbook accepts Bitcoin Cash, or any cryptocurrency, straight into a wagering balance. Regulated deposits run on bank transfer, debit card, PayPal, prepaid cards or cash at a retail counter, the rails a state’s cashier rules and anti-money-laundering checks were built around.

The exception is narrow and it belongs to a different coin. DraftKings began converting Bitcoin deposits to cash before they reach a wagering account in Illinois, Kentucky, New Hampshire and Vermont in June 2026, using a third-party payment processor that turns the crypto into dollars first. Bitcoin is the only coin named in that program. Bitcoin Cash isn’t part of it.

Massachusetts shows how contested even that pilot is. DraftKings’ home state for legal sports betting passed a gaming commission rule in December 2025 barring crypto-converted funding, then handed the book a temporary waiver to test the feature in place of a standing approval. Other regulated states mostly haven’t banned a crypto-to-cash rail, but an unaddressed question is a long way from a running feature, and none of them offers one today.

Paper trail is the reason. A wallet-to-wallet transfer carries no named-bank-account trail, and a state gaming compact requires one for anti-money-laundering purposes, so the money gets blocked at the door or pushed through a licensed processor that runs its own identity check before it counts as a deposit.

How to Deposit Bitcoin Cash at a Sportsbook

Once a wallet exists, funding an account takes about ten minutes of work.

Step 1: Get a Bitcoin Cash Wallet

Download a wallet that supports Bitcoin Cash specifically, such as Bitcoin.com Wallet, Electron Cash or a BCH-enabled exchange wallet. A Bitcoin-only wallet won’t hold BCH. The two coins run on separate blockchains despite the shared name.

Step 2: Buy or Move BCH Into the Wallet

Buy Bitcoin Cash on an exchange that lists it, or send BCH you already hold elsewhere to the new wallet’s receiving address. Confirm the balance shows in the wallet before you open the sportsbook’s cashier.

Step 3: Copy the Sportsbook’s BCH Deposit Address

Open the cashier, pick Bitcoin Cash as the deposit method, and copy the address the sportsbook generates. This is where people lose money. A Bitcoin wallet address and a Bitcoin Cash address are not interchangeable, and sending BCH to a BTC address, or the reverse, can lose the funds outright. Check the format against what your wallet labels as BCH before you send anything.

Step 4: Send the Deposit and Wait for Confirmation

Send the exact amount from your wallet to the copied address. The sportsbook credits it after a set count of network confirmations, and never the instant the transaction broadcasts. Every deposit method these books run has some version of that wait, and crypto’s is shorter than most.

Bitcoin Cash vs. Bitcoin for Betting

Bitcoin Cash split off from Bitcoin in 2017 with one design change built in from the start, larger blocks, meant to keep transaction fees low even when the network gets busy.

That change is the whole practical difference for a bettor funding an account. A Bitcoin Cash deposit clears the network for a fraction of a cent. A Bitcoin deposit’s fee moves with how congested the Bitcoin chain is at that moment, and during a busy stretch it can run to several dollars, eating a far bigger share of a small deposit than a large one. Send $50 in Bitcoin during a fee spike and the fee takes a visible bite. Send the same $50 in Bitcoin Cash and you barely notice it.

Speed doesn’t separate the two coins at these books. Bovada credits both after a comparable number of network confirmations, and the rest treat BCH and BTC deposits on similar timelines. Bitcoin Cash doesn’t win on speed. It wins on cost.

One risk applies to both coins equally. Price can move between the moment you send a deposit and the moment the book credits it, and a volatile hour shifts the dollar value of that exact deposit before it lands. Which chain carries it has nothing to do with that.

On funding cost alone, the fee side favors Bitcoin Cash every time. Nothing else about the account changes based on which coin funds it, from bonus terms to betting limits.

Getting Paid Back in Bitcoin Cash

A sportsbook won’t always pay your winnings back in the coin you deposited, and MyBookie proves it. MyBookie takes Bitcoin Cash deposits and pays withdrawals only in Bitcoin or by bank wire, so a BCH deposit there becomes a dollar balance that comes back out as a different coin. Check the payout side before you fund anything.

BetNowNot confirmedNot publishedNot published
BookMaker.euYes$50 / $25,000 weekdays ($3,000 weekends)2 to 3 hours typical, up to 48 hours

BetNow confirms Bitcoin Cash for deposits and never spells out BCH withdrawal terms on its banking pages, so that row stays unconfirmed until the book states it.

A first withdrawal at every book here triggers an identity check whatever the payout method. A government-issued photo ID at minimum, sometimes copies of any card used to deposit. The check runs before the money moves, so clear it the day you open the account. Do that and a Bitcoin Cash payout lands among the fastest sportsbook payouts you can get. Leave it and your first big win sits in a review queue.

Bitcoin Cash Sportsbook Bonuses

A Bitcoin Cash deposit doesn’t always qualify for the same welcome offer as a card or bank deposit. Several of these books weight crypto differently, and not always in your favor.

Bovada pays a 50% match up to $250 on a standard sports deposit and 75% up to $750 on a crypto deposit, both at 5x rollover, so BCH gets the bigger match there. Everygame runs a similar split. Its non-crypto offer pays 100% up to $500 against a named crypto offer of 50% up to $1,000 that lists Bitcoin Cash among the qualifying coins, both at 12x. MyBookie’s crypto reload code stacks higher than its card equivalent at every deposit tier.

BookMaker.eu flips the pattern on its two free-play welcome offers. Crypto gets 20% up to $500 where a card deposit gets 25% up to $500, so the math there favors the card. BetOnline pays the same 50% up to $250 whatever you deposit with, crypto included, with no separate crypto tier at all right now.

The wagering multiple decides more than the headline percentage does. Take MyBookie’s crypto reload at its $100-$199 tier. A $100 deposit earns a 25% match, $25, and the terms require 8x rollover on deposit plus bonus combined. That’s 8 times $125, or $1,000 in wagering before the bonus or anything it won can be withdrawn, on a bonus worth $25. Bovada caps how hard you can push that wagering, too. While a sports bonus is active there, the maximum bet per wager is 50% of the amount deposited.

Read the live terms in the cashier before you deposit. These sportsbook bonuses rotate by month, and they aren’t always coin-specific even when the marketing implies otherwise.

Is Bitcoin Cash Worth Using Over Other Coins?

The case for it holds up against the numbers above. Network fees run near zero even on a small deposit, deposit and withdrawal speed at these six books sits on par with Bitcoin itself, and at more than one of them the crypto weighting matches or beats what a card deposit earns. If your main worry is losing a chunk of a deposit to network congestion, Bitcoin Cash does exactly what it was built to do.

The case against is size. Bitcoin Cash is a smaller, older coin than Bitcoin or the major stablecoins. That means thinner liquidity on some exchanges and a genuine chance a sportsbook trims it from the cashier before it trims Bitcoin or Tether. MyBookie already shows that drift in progress. Bitcoin Cash gets in the door as a deposit there and doesn’t get paid back out. If BCH is already half-supported in one cashier out of six, full support elsewhere isn’t guaranteed to last either.

A stablecoin solves a different problem. Neither Bitcoin Cash nor Bitcoin protects you from price movement between the moment a deposit goes out and the moment it gets credited, and holding either through a volatile hour can shift the dollar value of that deposit before it lands. A dollar-pegged stablecoin removes that exposure. It doesn’t touch the network-fee advantage that makes Bitcoin Cash worth using in the first place.

The bottom line splits by starting point. If you already hold Bitcoin Cash, there’s no reason to convert it into something else before depositing. Fees stay low, six sportsbooks take it, and swapping coins first only adds a step and a second taxable event. If you’re choosing from scratch and network cost is what decides it, Bitcoin Cash is a fair pick. It isn’t the most liquid coin on the table, but on what a deposit costs to move, it does what it claims.

Bitcoin Cash Sportsbook FAQ

Do Any Sportsbooks Still Take Bitcoin Cash?

Yes. Bovada, BetOnline, MyBookie, Everygame, BetNow and BookMaker.eu all take it, each confirmed on its own cashier page. GTBets still lists it in older marketing copy, but its site isn’t accepting new sign-ups, so it doesn’t count as live.

What Is the Minimum Bitcoin Cash Deposit?

It ranges from $10 at BetOnline and Everygame up to $50 at BookMaker.eu, with Bovada’s minimum set in coin terms at 0.001 BCH. The table above has the exact figure for each book.

Are There Fees for a Bitcoin Cash Deposit?

No sportsbook here charges its own fee on a Bitcoin Cash deposit. The only cost comes from your sending wallet or exchange’s network fee, which for BCH usually runs a fraction of a cent.

How Long Does a Bitcoin Cash Deposit Take to Credit?

Between about ten minutes and an hour at most books, once the transaction confirms on the blockchain. Bovada credits a deposit after a single network confirmation in most cases.

Can You Withdraw Winnings in Bitcoin Cash?

At most of them, yes. Bovada, BetOnline, Everygame and BookMaker.eu pay withdrawals in Bitcoin Cash. MyBookie takes a BCH deposit and pays out only in Bitcoin or by bank wire.

Is Bitcoin Cash Cheaper Than Bitcoin for Betting?

Yes, on network fees. A Bitcoin Cash deposit costs a fraction of a cent to send, while a Bitcoin deposit’s fee can run to several dollars when the Bitcoin chain is congested. Confirmation speed and everything else about the account stays the same either way.

Do Regulated Sportsbooks Accept Bitcoin Cash?

No. No state-licensed sportsbook accepts Bitcoin Cash, or any cryptocurrency, directly into a wagering balance. The lone live exception, DraftKings’ crypto-to-cash pilot in four states, supports Bitcoin only.

Do I Need a Different Wallet for Bitcoin Cash Than Bitcoin?

Yes. Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash run on separate blockchains despite the shared name, so a Bitcoin-only wallet can’t hold BCH, and sending BCH to a Bitcoin address can lose the funds outright.

Does a Bitcoin Cash Deposit Qualify for a Sign-Up Bonus?

Usually, though the terms don’t always match a card deposit’s. Several of these sportsbooks route a crypto deposit into a separately weighted welcome offer, sometimes bigger than the card version and sometimes smaller, so read the crypto terms before you assume they line up.

The Short Version

  1. Bitcoin Cash still works at the six sportsbooks above, confirmed on each one’s own cashier page, and it costs less in network fees than a Bitcoin deposit.
  2. No regulated, state-licensed sportsbook takes it directly, which keeps it an offshore-only method.
  3. Send it to a Bitcoin Cash address, never a Bitcoin address, and set up your payout method before a big win instead of after one.
