SHEBOYGAN, Wis. – The 2021 Ryder Cup is getting ready to begin on Friday, which means it’s time to lock in those golf bets for the weekend. Specifically, the opening day of the event has some betting lines worth looking into.

Foursomes And Four-balls Odds: The USA Is Favored

The first day of the 2021 Ryder Cup will start with four-ball pairings in the morning and foursomes matchups in the afternoon. Betting odds are available on regulated sports betting sites for which team will win each type of match and the United States is favored in each category.

Four-ball is when each team is paired into groups of two and are paired against one another. Every golfer plays their own ball and the team keeps the best score for the hole. In 2018, despite losing the event, the United States did take home the first-day four-ball by a score of 3-1.

DeChambeau recently hinted at a possible pairing saying that the two have  “something fun coming up”. It could be a Ryder Cup pairing, charity exhibition, or something completely different. At (+400) it could be worth a sprinkle of a play considering his comments.
