UFC Fight Night: Dustin Poirier vs. Dan Hooker offers several great betting odds outside of the main event.

  • Dustin Poirier is a -220 favorite in the main event fight against Dan Hooker who has +185 odds.
  • Kyle Dauskaus has +550 odds of beating Brendan Allen by submission.
  • Jordan Griffin is a slight +125 underdog against Youssef Zalal (-125) in their featherweight fight.

LAS VEGAS — The UFC hosts another full slate of fights live from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas this weekend. The latest edition of the UFC Fight Night saga features a lightweight main event fight between Dustin Poirier and Dan Hooker.

Poirier is favored to win the fight at -220 odds, while a Hooker win comes with +185 money line odds. Outside of these odds, there are plenty of prop bets for the main card event.

Beyond the main event, however, are fights worth betting on as the UFC has (on paper) done a great job of matching up the fighters which leaves the potential for some exciting battles in the octagon.

Online sportsbooks have odds and props for just about every fight on Saturday. There are three fights in particular that bettors should keep an extra eye on as it could lead to a successful night at sportsbooks.

Middleweight Fight – Allen (14-3) vs. Daukaus (9-0)

  • Brendan Allen -300
  • Kyle Daukaus +250

The Allen-Daukaus fight will be a glimpse into the future of the division as these two up and comers look to take the steps towards a shot at the middleweight championship. This should be a closer fight than the odds suggest and the underdog +250 odds on Daukaus to come out on top should be taken with confidence here.

Daukaus has yet to lose in nine fights and 8 of those victories have come via submission. Parlay Daukaus’ +250 money line odds with the +550 odds on the prop for Daukaus to win by submission if looking to bet on the underdog. Allen’s -300 odds aren’t worth going deeper into your pockets as Daukaus might just be primed to pull off the upset here.

Winner: Kyle Daukaus SU (+250).

Welterweight Fight – Sato (15-3) vs. Witt (17-5)

  • Takashi Sato -225
  • Jason Witt +190

The UFC’s welterweight division is deep and talented. That depth will be on display as Takashi Sato and Jason Witt square off on Saturday night in the preliminary rounds. Sato is the favorite at -225 odds but he’s struggled in his recent fights and can be upset by Witt who’s +190 odds should be taken in this fight.

Witt has won four straight fights with the last three coming via unanimous decision. Take the +190 odds on Witt to win here and expect this fight to go the distance as well.

Winner: Jason Witt (+190) SU

Featherweight Fight – Griffin (18-7) vs. Zalal (8-2)

  • Youssef Zalal -125
  • Jordan Griffin +105

This Zalal-Griffin fight will be just as the odds reflect as these fighters are close in skill. Zalal comes into this fight having won his last two bouts which is why he’s a slight favorite at -125 odds. Griffin is 1-1 in his last two fights. A majority of both fighters’ victories have come by way of submission which means quite a bit of this fight will take place on the ground and a knockout is not likely.

Bettors should take the -125 odds on Zalal as putting down the extra money to win the bet here is worth it. The +105 odds on Griffin are good for anyone fishing for an upset but with Zalal at -125 odds and coming into this fight on a roll, the favorite is the best bet.

Winner: Youssef Zalal (-125)

UFC Fight Night: Poirer vs. Hooker will begin with the preliminary card starting at 6 p.m. ET and the Main Card getting underway around 8 p.m. ET. Both cards will be broadcasted on the ESPN and ESPN+ platforms.
