PHILADELPHIA – Sunday night features another exciting money-making opportunity for NFL Daily Fantasy players.

While the game between the 2-5 Dallas Cowboys and the 2-4-1 Philadelphia Eagles might not be the most captivating viewing experience, bettors can find their own excitement through primetime DFS tournaments.

DraftKings is running dozens of different tournaments for Sunday Night, giving bettors a $50,000 budget to choose their team for this NFC East matchup.

Looking at the options available for this game requires following some deeper NFL betting trends  to try to gain the edge by drafting the best players.

Carson Wentz, Quarterback, Philadelphia – $17,700

The Eagles have struggled so far in 2020, and quarterback Carson Wentz has not been immune from the difficulties.

Wentz has thrown for 1,760 yards so far this season but has a 58.6 completion percentage to go along with 10 touchdowns and 10 interceptions.

The good news is that Wentz will be playing the Cowboys this week, who have allowed 16 passing touchdowns and 7.6 yards per passing attempt to opposing QBs this season.

While Wentz won’t be breaking any records this week, he is the clear best option at quarterback for this game.

Ezekiel Elliot, Running Back, Dallas – $10,800

Zeke comes in as a top choice in Sunday Night fantasy lineups due to the current state of the Cowboys’ offense.

The Cowboys are now on their third quarterback of the season after losing both Dak Prescott and Andy Dalton to injury. With Ben DiNucci under center, it doesn’t take a daily fantasy expert to realize that Dallas will be relying heavily on Elliot going forward.

While Zeke has had some trouble fumbling the ball in recent weeks, he managed to keep track of it in the Cowboys’ last game against Washington. If he is able to avoid fumbling again, he will likely have no trouble scoring big points against the Eagles’ weak run defense.

Amari Cooper, Wide Receiver, Dallas – $8,200

While many would be cautious of choosing a Dallas receiver in wake of the Dalton injury, Cooper is still a valuable choice for Daily Fantasy lineups.

Last week with both Dalton and DiNucci, Cooper caught seven passes on seven targets for 80 yards.

The downside to his situation is apparent, but Cooper has the talent and experience to be the safety blanket for the rookie DiNucci for the rest of the season.

Travis Fulgham, Wide Receiver, Philadelphia – $9,200

In terms of weapons for the Eagles’ offense, none have been more effective of late than Travis Fulgham.

The second-year wideout earned his role as a starter for Philadelphia following a series of injuries to DeSean Jackson and Alshon Jeffrey. Since then, Fulgham has seen terrific production including three touchdowns in four weeks and three games over 70 yards receiving.

With some receivers returning from injury this week Fulham could see less action, but he appears to have built enough trust with Wentz to earn his role going forward.

Jalen Reagor, Wide Receiver, Philadelphia – $4,400

If passes aren’t going to Fulgham, they will likely head the way of Jalen Reagor.

Reagor is returning from injury this week and should help out the offense overall by giving defenses some other threats to worry about.

Reagor was getting solid opportunities before his injury, and is available for a terrific price at legal sports betting sites in this matchup.
