Betr To Offer Prediction Markets After Acquiring Broker Firm
  • Betr acquired introducing broker ACM Futures, meaning they now have registrations needed to offer prediction markets.
  • They will be partnering with Polymarket thanks to a deal agreed upon in March of 2026.

CHICAGO – Yet another sports betting site has decided to expand into the prediction market space, as Betr, co-owned by Jake Paul and Joey Levy, bought out the rights to a firm registered with the National Futures Association (NFA).

After acquiring introducing broker ACM Futures, short for Ascent Capital Markets, Betr now owns their registration with both the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) and the NFA, meaning they are legally permitted to offer prediction markets.

They now have the ability to partner with prediction market platforms such as Kalshi or Polymarket to offer contracts on their own platform.

Other Sportsbooks Have Already Launched Prediction Markets

Betr will add to the list of legal online sports betting sites jumping into prediction markets, after Fanatics, DraftKings, FanDuel, and others have already done so.

Fanatics Sportsbook laid the blueprint for Betr’s route to launching prediction markets, buying up Paragon Global Markets back in August of 2025 and launching their own markets in November.

Because they decided to buy a firm that was already registered, they do not need to wait for NFA approval to begin operations. This puts the popular legal sports betting app known for their player prop offerings into the predictions game.

Betr Is Partnering With Polymarket

The two companies preemptively arranged a deal in March in anticipation of NFA approval for Betr, announcing a multi-year partnership. However, when their application took longer than expected, Betr executives decided to buy a firm to expedite the process.

Polymarket has become one of the most prominent prediction markets and is projected to help Betr to reach $1 trillion in volume annually according to Joe Levy. Launched in 2020, Polymarket rose to prominence during the 2024 presidential election, recording over $3 billion wagered.
