- Michigan State has +290 odds to win the Big 10 Tournament.
- State regulated sportsbooks do not offer college player props in Indianapolis.
INDIANAPOLIS – Bettors are expecting a closely kept Big 10 Tournament and the way that the odds are going into the tournament, there are plenty of contenders in striking distance.
At the time of writing, legal sports betting sites have Michigan State favored to win the tournament at +290 odds, however, the next five teams all have odds under +1000 to win the tournament.
With so many teams under +1000 odds to win the tournament, it falls in line with recent winners over the last five seasons as the winner of the Big 10 Tournament in those years have gone in with +500 odds or less.
Something else to take into consideration over the last five conference tournaments is that four of the last five winners finished the regular season with the highest point differential in the conference on the season. If that were to continue, Maryland leads the Big 10 with a +14.9 differential.
Since the 2009-10 season, the winner with the highest odds came in 2017 when Michigan won with +950 odds. On the contrary, on two occasions since then, a team has won as the outright favorite with under even odds. Ohio State did it with -160 odds in 2011 and Wisconsin did it in 2015 with -140 odds.
How To Bet On College Player Props In Indianapolis
Unfortunately for those making the trek to Indy for the tournament, not all college basketball odds for the Big 10 tournament will be available. However, there are other Indiana sports betting sites that are allowed to offer player prop odds on college sports including the Big 10 tournament.
They are allowed to do so being that they are located offshore and are not subject to following any of the state’s gambling laws.
