Memphis Grizzlies

  • The NBA seeding games are in their final stages from the bubble in Orlando with 14 teams in action Tuesday.
  • There is still plenty of betting opportunity to be had before the playoffs begin as teams like the Phoenix Suns, Memphis Grizzlies, Portland Trail Blazers, and San Antonio Spurs are all fighting for a playoff spot.
  • Top picks include the Grizzlies’ odds (+135) over the Boston Celtics (-155) and the Suns to cover 9.5 (-110) against the 76ers.

ORLANDO, Fla.Bubble basketball continues to roll on without any signs of popping with seven games throughout the day Tuesday.

Legal sports betting trends have been all over the place as of late as certain teams begin to rest their stars for the playoffs while others fight tooth and nail for one of the few remaining spots.

Nevertheless, there are still plays to be made and money to be won across the board with so many games available.

NBA – 4:40 p.m. ET

  • Phoenix Suns -9.5, -470
  • Philadelphia 76ers +9.5, +335
  • Over/Under 226

After being the last team invited to the bubble, the Phoenix Suns have played easily the best basketball of any squad in Orlando.

Behind the stellar play of Devin Booker, the Suns have cemented themselves as a true playoff contender.

The Suns are 6-0 in the bubble and still need every win they can get to try to sneak into the play-in series.

Meanwhile, the Sixers are now hobbling into the playoffs where they are currently the six seed after losing Ben Simmons to a knee injury. Tuesday, they will also sit Joel Embiid, and possibly Tobias Harris and Al Horford who are listed as questionable.

With the Suns playing the way they are and the Sixers sending out half of their squad, look for Phoenix to cover the large spread.

PICK: Suns -9.5

NBA – 5:00 p.m. ET

  • Boston Celtics -3, -155
  • Memphis Grizzlies +3, +135
  • Over/Under 226

Memphis was the No. 8 seed in the West when the teams headed to Florida and are now desperately holding onto that seat after going 1-5 so far in the bubble.
With a win Tuesday, the Grizzlies can clinch a spot in the play-in series. A loss doesn’t eliminate them yet but would put extreme pressure on their final game.

Meanwhile, the Celtics are locked at the three seed in the East with nothing to win or lose until the playoffs.

In another case of motivation, the Grizzlies need a win far more than the Celtics, and get the support in this one.

PICK: Grizzlies ML

NBA – 6:35 p.m. ET

  • Portland Trail Blazers -2.5, -137
  • Dallas Mavericks +2.5, +117
  • Over/Under 226.5

As one of the best teams in the bubble, the Trail Blazers continue their campaign to make the playoffs Tuesday against the Mavericks.

The Mavs sat their stars in their last matchup and have Luka Doncic, Kristaps Porzingis, and Dorian Finney-Smith all listed as questionable for this game.

The Blazers can clinch a play-in spot with a win while the Mavs are locked into the No. 7 spot with a loss.

While Damian Lilliard playing at his best, look for the Blazers to cover late in this one after Dallas sits their best talent for rest.

PICK: Blazers -2.5

NBA – 9:10 p.m. ET

  • Milwaukee Bucks -8, -350
  • Washington Wizards +8, +275
  • Over/Under 231.5

Both of these teams have nothing to play for in this one, where the Bucks will likely rest Giannis Antetokounmpo and their other stars.

The Wizards are one of the worst teams in the bubble, going 0-6 so far and 1-5 against the spread.

Look for Milwaukee’s bench to still cover in this one.

PICK: Bucks -8

NBA – 9:10 p.m. ET

  • New Orleans Pelicans +2.5, +120
  • Sacramento Kings -2.5, -140
  • Over/Under 233.5

While the Pelicans came into the bubble with high hopes, they have quickly fallen out of contention after losing four of their six games.

They join the Kings in the land of the eliminated for this matchup, with both teams having nothing left to play for.

The Pelicans will be sitting Brandon Ingram, Jrue Holiday, and Zion Williamson in this one, which gives the Kings just enough hope to outshoot an apathetic New Orleans squad.

PICK: Kings -2.5

No matter which team basketball bettors put their faith in on Tuesday, the NBA is ramping up for some stellar action heading into the playoffs.
