- The Bud Light Pick & Kick Bonus will be a betting event brought to fans of the Denver Broncos on December 19 by the team, Bud Light, and FanDuel.
- Colorado has had a booming sports betting market since its launch in May.
DENVER – December 19 will see the first betting event of its kind as Bud Light, FanDuel, and the Denver Broncos come together to offer fans a special gambling day for the Broncos vs. Buffalo Bills game.
Colorado legalized sports betting in November of 2019 and launched the industry in May with a steady increase of popularity of the pastime ever since. The Denver Broncos have official partners in FanDuel and Bud Light, which is what lead the three organizations to come together for what they’re calling the “Bud Light Pick & Kick Bonus.”
“Representing a true partnership, FanDuel Group and the Broncos are integrating Bud Light into fan’s passion for sports betting like never done previously with the ‘Bud Light Pick & Kick Bonus’ market we’re offering,” said Mike Raffensperger, FanDuel Group CMO.
The Bud Light Pick & Kick Bonus
On December 19, the Denver Broncos will host the Buffalo Bills at 4:30 p.m. EST on the NFL Network.
Anyone who places an NFL bet on the money line with the sportsbook, either for the Broncos or the Bills, will automatically get $3 for each extra point or field goal that kicker Brandon McManus of the Broncos’ makes for all four quarters of the game.
This allows fans to win some money and gives the brands of FanDuel and Bud Light a boost in engagement through this event. It should also bring in a number of wagers on the money line for the game that’ll rake in revenue for the sportsbook and the Denver Broncos’ organization.
“Colorado has embraced sports betting in an amazing fashion and we think it’s the perfect place to partner with the Broncos and Bud Light to bring customers America’s first branded sportsbook,” said Raffensperger. “This is an incredible example of how brands like Bud Light can work with an operator and sports team to reach fans in the most engaging environment across the sports landscape.”
The Denver Broncos Embrace Sports Betting
The Denver Broncos are excited about the upcoming event. They are fully accepting of how popular sports betting in Colorado has become and want to give their fans activities centered around it such as this one.
“As a property, we are tasked, on behalf of our partners, with authentically integrating brands into passion points for our fans and we think this partnership does just that,” said Brady Kellogg, Denver Broncos’ SVP of Corporate Partnerships.
“Legal sports betting is an ultra-competitive and fast-moving category. As a first mover in the category within the NFL, it’s incumbent on us to help bring fresh new activations to the market to separate our partners from their competition. We were excited to join FanDuel on this innovative course to benefit our fans as well as our great partners at Bud Light.”
