Notre Dame and Clemson

  • Top value picks for College Football Daily Fantasy on Draft Kings this Championship Saturday include Oklahoma’s Spencer Rattler, available for $8,100.
  • Other sleepers include Ole Miss running back Jerrion Ealy ($7,300), and Clemson wide receiver Amari Rodgers ($6,500).

LAS VEGASCollege football heads into its Championship weekend this week, with many of the top conferences playing their title games.

Teams from the SEC, ACC, Big 12, Big 10, Pac 12, and many more will be crowning their champion this weekend, with many of the top teams in action.

Per usual, Draft Kings is putting up $150,000 in prize money for their noon slot Saturday Championship Kickoff tournament, where bettors will have a budget of $50,000 to draft their squad of players.

In a DFS set up like this, managing your draft bankroll is the most important factor. Many Daily Fantasy betting players are left wondering where they can get the best bang for their buck this weekend.

Luckily, there a few standouts at each position that are available for a discounted price. Locking in these players and splurging elsewhere can easily be the difference between a winning and losing roster.

Value QB: Spencer Rattler, Oklahoma – $8,100

The Oklahoma Sooners head into the Big 12 Championship this weekend against Iowa State with a chip on their shoulder. The Cyclones beat the Sooners back in September in just their third game of the season, putting the Sooners at 1-2 and effectively knocking them out of the College Football Playoff race before it ever began.

Since then, the Sooners have gone undefeated and now storm into the conference championship game behind the arm of Spencer Rattler. Rattler has thrown for over 300 yards four times this season, and has a completion percentage just under 70%.

Rattler comes at a discounted price thanks to the Sooner’s game with West Virginia being canceled last week, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t one of the five best quarterbacks in the country.

Value RB: Jerrion Ealy, Ole Miss – $7,300

While the Ole Miss Rebels won’t be competing in the SEC Championship game, they will be making up a game against LSU this Saturday. LSU might have beaten Florida last week, but that doesn’t absolve them from being utterly terrible on defense all season. The Tigers rank 132nd in the country in defense against running backs this season.

Ealy has blossomed under Lane Kiffin’s offensive system, rushing over 90 yards four times this year and scoring nine touchdowns. While the passing game draws most of the attention, Ealy is able to feast on defenses that take players out of the box. With top receiver Elijah Moore out, Ealy should be the primary weapon for the Rebels in both the run game, and the receiving game out of the backfield.

Value WR: Amari Rodgers, Clemson – $6,500

The biggest matchup of the weekend comes in the ACC Championship Game, where No. 3 Clemson will look to get revenge against No. 2 Notre Dame. The Tigers will be at full strength this time, with no excuses available and nowhere to hide for the Fighting Irish.

Irish fans certainly remember Amari Rodgers, who went for 134 yards on eight catches in their first meeting. Rodgers excels in his ability to make plays after the catch, which will be relied upon heavily this Saturday.

With a huge average fantasy score of 18.6, Rodgers is easily the best receiver available in his price range. Rodgers tore his ACL in 2019 and has been on a mission this season to prove he is one of the best wideouts in College Football. Another big game against a Top 2 team would do wonders for that statement.
