  • There are three new podcasts that will launch soon that will feature big names in sports and sports betting.
  • This partnership will help Cousin Sal and FanDuel bring in their different audiences together and reach more people in the sports gambling world.

NEW YORK FanDuel has announced its new partnership, making the company the exclusive Sports Betting, Casino and Horse Racing Partner of Sal Iacono, known as “Cousin Sal” and Mush Media.

This partnership is coming after the launch of a new podcast network and website called Extra Points where FanDuel will be also the presenting sponsor and odds provider.

Both Extra Points, which is focused on Cousin Sal’s favorite topics (sports, sports betting, and comedy), and Against All Odds, which is a former popular show from The Ringer, will have FanDuel as the exclusive sports betting partner.

“This exciting collaboration is part of our continued efforts to expand FanDuel’s reach through authentic content partnership. Sal is a fun, unique content creator who brings a light touch and comedic perspective to the sports gambling market,” said Mike Raffensperger, CMO, FanDuel Group. “He has built a large and loyal following as a trusted voice in sports and sports betting for over a decade, which has translated into an exciting new media venture that we are thrilled to be a founding partner of.”

There are three other podcasts by Cousin Sal that will also be released as a part of this deal. The podcast include: Waiver Wired is a fantasy sports show hosted by Jerry Ferrara and Jen Piacenti; Lemon Pepper Parlay Podcast is concentrating on teams in the Midwest and is hosted by Rob Parker and T.J. Houshmandzadeh; and Minus Three, which is focused on Northeast sports and will feature Dave Dameshel and Geoff Schwartz.

To add to that, Cousin Sal and FanDuel will collaborate on original content that will be available on Sal and FanDuel’s channels.

“From the time I was a very young boy, I always wanted my own promo code,” said Cousin Sal. “What better way to achieve this goal than by partnering up with FanDuel, the gold standard in daily fantasy and sports gambling? I’m very excited to get started.”

Sal received notoriety in the legal sports betting community after he was one of the hosts of Fox Sports Fox Bet Live, featured weekly on Fox NFL Thursday Night Football pregame, and appeared on the Bill Simmons Podcast for the “Guess the Lines” segment.
