Clark’s Return To The Lineup Boosts Indiana’s Odds - Fever vs Dream
  • The Indiana Fever are -145 home favorites against the Atlanta Dream.
  • The Dream have defeated Indiana in two of their first three matchups, although Caitlin Clark did not play in the third game.

INDIANAPOLIS – The Indiana Fever are set to host the Atlanta Dream for their fourth and final matchup of the season on Friday, July 10th.

Indiana enters the game 9-10, third in the East and three games back of Atlanta, who sits at 12-7.

Dream vs Fever Game Odds

Team Spread Moneyline Total
Dream +2.5 (-110) +125 O 166.5 (-110)
Fever -2.5 (-110) -145 U 166.5 (-110)

Legal sports betting sites list the Fever as two and a half point favorites at home against the Dream. The two teams faced each other in Indiana back in May as the Dream pulled out a 91-90 victory.

Atlanta leads the season series over Indiana 2-1, their lone loss against the Fever coming just two days after defeating them at home.

Caitlin Clark was not active for their most recent meeting on June 10th, as the Dream earned a dominant 77-58 win while the Fever struggled to find offense without her. Clark returned to the lineup for Indiana’s last game as they fell to the Golden State Valkyries by a final score of 80-61. She shot 4-12, recording 10 points, 6 assists, 5 rebounds, and 4 turnovers in that game.

Both teams are evenly matched on paper, as they have a less than two point differential in both points per game and points allowed per game. Atlanta has gone 6-4 in their last 10 games, while Indiana has gone 5-5.

The Fever have not been particularly good at home, going 9-10 overall and 3-3 with Clark in the lineup. The Dream have gone 4-4 on the road, so home / road splits do not appear to be much of a factor either way.

The one constant of the matchups between the two teams is that when Clark plays, the games have been closely contested. The Dream won the first meeting by just one point and the Fever won the second by five.

With all that being said, bettors should give the edge to Indiana. As Caitlin Clark begins to ramp up her recovery (playing just 25 minutes last game) and the Fever looking to improve playoff positioning, it is likely we see her get more minutes and shot attempts in this one.
