Harrah's will be allowed to advertise in The Linc.

  • Harrah’s Philadelphia Casino and Racetrack will now be advertised by the Philadelphia Eagles through in-stadium signage and branding.
  • Eagles-branded table games will now be available at Harrah’s Philadelphia Casino.
  • Caesars Entertainment, the parent company of Harrah’s Philadelphia, is the exclusive casino partner of the NFL.

PHILADELPHIA – On Monday, Harrah’s Philadelphia Casino and Racetrack entered into a marketing deal with none other than the Philadelphia Eagles.

The partnership will include opportunities for Harrah’s Philadelphia to advertise itself inside of Lincoln Financial Field through in-stadium signage and branding as well as through direct mail and email marketing campaigns.

The Eagles ‘Drive Summary’ videoboard will showcase Harrah’s Philadelphia as the presenting sponsor and the casino will be featured in the Eagle’s “Scratch and Win” mobile app.

“This new partnership will enable us to work creatively with Harrah’s through innovative ways to further engage with Eagles fans,” said Philadelphia Eagles senior vice president of revenue and strategy, Catherine Carlson in a press release.

 

“We look to forward to offering special Eagles experiences and co-branded touchpoints with Harrah’s Philadelphia year-round.”

Some of those experiences will include having Eagles Legends appearances at Harrah’s Philadelphia, Eagles-branded table games at the casino, and co-branded items at gift shops located at the stadium and at Harrah’s.

“Harrah’s Philadelphia prides itself on partnering with organizations that share our same core values and the Philadelphia Eagles are the gold standard in terms of customer service, community engagement, and on-the-field product,” said Chris Albrecht, the senior vice president and general manager of Harrah’s Philadelphia.

 

“We each have passionate and loyal fan bases and we look forward to connecting with them in new and innovative ways and providing them with exciting experiences through this partnership.”

The partnership between the two organizations comes after the NFL named Caesars Entertainment the league’s first-ever casino sponsor earlier this year. Caesars Entertainment is the parent company of Harrah’s Philadelphia and owns the Harrah’s brand.

That particular partnership allows Caesars properties to use NFL trademarks, but it did not include any specific language in terms of the legal sportsbooks inside of Caesars locations like Harrah’s.

Harrah’s Philadelphia launched one of the first sportsbooks in Pennsylvania earlier this year. Details on how the casino’s sportsbook may be affected by the new deal with the Eagles were not disclosed.
