MKF, AEG Enter Marketing Partnership To Grow DFS In So. Cal

• AEG and MKF have announced a strategic marketing partnership making MKF the fantasy sports partner for LA Kings, LA Galaxy, and an official partner for the Ontario Reign.
• MKF will have its brand and marking rights increased at team venues and online.
• This deal adds to the three professional sports teams in Southern California (Padres, Chargers, and Wildcats) that MKF has a partnership with.

LOS ANGELES – A new strategic marketing partnership between the fantasy sports gaming platform Monkey Knife Fight (MKF) and the sports and live entertainment firm AEG was announced on Thursday.

North America’s fastest-growing fantasy sports gaming platform will now be the exclusive fantasy sports partner of the NHL’s LA Kings and the MLS’s LA Galaxy. MFK has also been named the official partner for the Ontario Reign of the AHL.

The multi-year agreement will increase MKF’s brand presence in both team facilities and online media platforms.

The LA Kings will have a MKF in-ice logo in a premiere corner at the Staple Center during all regular-season games. MKF will also have a digital scoreboard and a LED ribbon board signage for all of LA Galaxy home games at Dignity Health Sports Park

The fantasy sports platform will have digital signage and in-game marketing at Toyota Arena for every Ontario Reign home game.

MKF has already begun to take part in the lucrative Southern California daily fantasy sports market by inking partnerships with San Diego Padres (MLB), Los Angeles Chargers (MLB), Los Angeles Wildcats (XFL), and PGA Tour golfer Charley Hoffman from San Diego.

Professional sports teams have not been shy to sign deals with businesses in the legal sports betting industry or in the DFS industry. The partnership between AEG and MKF is just another example of this growing trend.

The agreements of the newly announced deals will start in the 2020-2021 season for all of these teams except for the LA Galaxy which will start at the beginning of the 2021 season.
