BRISTOL, Conn. – ESPN Bet announced a change on Monday: FanCenter. A personalized site within ESPN Bet, it is designed to enhance sports betting by helping bettors locate markets.
Additionally, the sportsbook will connect users with their favorite players, teams and fantasy football rosters into a cohesive betting platform.
What Is FanCenter By ESPN?
ESPN Bet will connect to FanCenter and offer customized parlays with faster payouts, all directly through ESPN’s main app. New features will also provide quick access to player insights regarding a bettor’s prop betting selections, while features like the ‘Find a Bet’ icon will display wagers related to the user’s roster.
Bridging the gap between ESPN Bet and ESPN Fantasy, its emphasis is 100% on user customization, in an attempt to bring bettors from competitors like DraftKings and FanDuel.
With over 13 million people participating in ESPN fantasy football last year, ESPN anticipates legal sports betting to help grow that number even larger this season.
FanCenter is the biggest product innovation for ESPN Bet to date, almost a year after its original teaser launched last summer. Add in the direct-to-consumer streaming service launching this fall at $29.99 per month, and ESPN is coming in as one of the only watch-and-bet integrated services.
