SuperBook Online Sportsbook In Colorado.

  • SuperBook is the 17th online sportsbook in Colorado to launch since online sports betting began in the state on May 1.
  • Colorado marks the second state that SuperBook operates in.
  • SuperBook is poised to enter the New Jersey online sports betting market next.

DENVER – After a long wait, one of the most iconic sportsbooks in all of Las Vegas has established its presence in the Colorado sports betting market. SuperBook is now available in retail form at The Lodge Casino in Black Hawk and all throughout the state with their online sportsbook.

SuperBook is officially the 17th online sports betting site to call Colorado home. The competition is fierce, but there is a big enough market for SuperBook to take a piece. Colorado has established itself as a top-five state in terms of betting handle per month.

“We believe The Lodge is a perfect fit for our initial expansion opportunities outside Las Vegas,” said Jay Kornegay, SuperBook® Executive Vice President of Race & Sports Book Operations at the time of announcement in April. “We have maintained the highest levels of technology and service in a highly-regulated industry. We have written the playbook on sports betting in the United States, and now we will put it in action in Colorado.”

SuperBook plans on entering the New Jersey online sports betting marketplace next as they take their brand across America.

How Colorado Sports Betting Differs From Nevada

While the Westgate SuperBook is a staple in Nevada and well known around the country for their SuperBook Contest every football season, Colorado is a much different market.

In terms of betting handle, Nevada accumulated a little over $609.5 million in November. Colorado on the other hand only generated $231.2 million for the same month. These figures were both all-time records for their own respective state.

However, while sports betting has been long established in Nevada, sports betting in Colorado isn’t even a year old.

Colorado is still a growing market but it is quickly becoming crowded and the competition is fierce. Fortunately for SuperBook, they’ve launched in time to capture NFL Playoff bets. NFL Football made up 38.3% of the entire betting handle for Colorado in the month of November.

It will take time for SuperBook to establish its presence in the legal sports betting market in Colorado, but they will likely see their biggest boom during the start of next football season.
