Third-Party Election Odds Could Net Bettors A Big Payout

WASHINGTON – The Presidential Election has sports bettors taking heavy action at online sportsbooks. Not only are they betting on the main two candidates Donald Trump and Joe Biden, but the action is also being taken on who will come in third.

Joe Jorgensen has the shortest odds to come in third in the popular vote. The Libertarian candidate is getting heavy action at legal sports betting sites.

Kanye West and Howie Hawkins are also getting heavy action on their positions, with Hawkins having the shortest odds to come in fourth and West having the second shortest odds to come in third and fourth in the popular vote.

Jorgensen is not in the polls in most of the country, but where she is being polled, the Libertarian candidate is showing major promise against her other third-party rivals.

For the candidate that will come in fourth in the popular vote, Howie Hawkins is heavily favored. Hawkins is one of the co-founders of the Green Party. However, due to COVID-19, the grassroots campaign that the green party usually lives by was heavily limited this year.

The interesting candidate in the betting odds is Kanye West. Ye has the second shortest odds to both come in third and fourth in the popular vote.

While Kanye’s campaign has been viewed by many as a publicity stunt, the Grammy award-winning hip-hop artist is still insanely popular and it would not be a stretch for West to take the upset in either category.

Despite those Kentucky polls being the result of a computer error, the excitement for Kanye’s campaign is still there and he’s spent millions to ensure that through political ads.

Senator Bernie Sanders is also a major name to look at for longshot odds in these betting lines. During the 2016 election, Sanders received over 111,850 write-in votes, showing that he has a strong following.

If that same following exists during this election, then Sanders may possibly win the fourth or even third in the popular vote this time around. While it may be a stretch for him to outpace Jo Jorgenson at this point, it isn’t too farfetched that he could get enough write-in votes to place fourth overall.

This could be one of the most profitable odds for the election found at legal sports betting sites.
