Tiger Woods Not Expected to Have Good Rounds In Memorial Tournament

• Tiger Woods will be making his return to PGA events this week but has +2200 odds to win the Memorial.

DUBLIN, Ohio – The Memorial Tournament is set to begin this week and many eyes will be on Tiger Woods as he returns to his first PGA tour event since February.

Woods will return to action at the Muirfield Village Golf Course to begin on Thursday, as he was in action last in The Match: Champions for Charity golf tournament where Woods won and seemed healthy and injury free.

Oddsmakers have posted a lot of prop bets for legal sports betting fans to get in on the action of the most famous golfer.

Though Tiger Woods has the most wins in the Memorial tournament than any other PGA golfer, he also shot his worst round of his career at this very tournament.

He’s shot two double bogies at hole 9 and even a quadruple bogey (hole 18) in 2015 In his last tournament, the Genesis Open, Woods had one double bogey in rounds 2-4.

Woods will probably be the most-watched golfer so many hope that he will stay alive long in the tournament. There may be a couple reasons that he will not perform the best this tournament to play in the final group in Round 4.

He may be a little rusty since it’s been five months since his last PGA Tour event, though Woods states he only sat out of tournaments to see how the PGA would hand COVID-19.

As such a popular player, expect his normal large gathering of fans to be following him at all times.

Despite everyone’s desires to see Tiger take the tournament, experts are expecting a decent performance but not necessarily to take the title, as Woods’ odds for winning the Memorial are set at +2200.
