The Outbreak Continues

As Week 16 approaches, one team that has seen 10+ players added to the COVID list are the Kansas City Chiefs. Those players include both Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce. Knowing that there have already been talks about the Chiefs Week 16 game against the Pittsburgh Steelers being postponed from Sunday to Tuesday.

Aside from the Kansas City Chiefs, the Buffalo Bills have also seen a COVID-19 outbreak. Defensive end, AJ Epenesa, offensive guard Jon Feliciano, and wider receiver Cole Beasley, have all been placed on the list. Also, Cole Beasley has been one of the more outspoken NFL players that has yet to be vaccinated against COVID-19 which raises some concern.

Something else to take into consideration is that both the Chiefs and Bills Super Bowl odds are amongst the favorites in the league. With both of these teams being contenders, it is tough seeing the league let these games go on as scheduled with all of the players that they are missing.

Another instance of a game getting postponed comes from the teams that played on Tuesday night as they would be coming off of very short weeks if they play their scheduled Sunday game. The Seattle Seahawks are one of those teams and have been in contact with the league about postponing their Week 16 matchup against the Chicago Bears.
