The Denver Broncos have signed a multi-year deal allowing Betfred to operate a sports lounge in Mile High Stadium.

  • The Denver Bronco are embracing sports betting in its entirety with a second sportsbook partnership announced in just as many days, this time it’s with Betfred.
  • Betfred will be able to offer on-site live betting for fans going to the Denver Broncos games.

DENVER – Tuesday marks the second consecutive day that the Denver Broncos have announced a partnership with a sportsbook operator and this time it’s with Betfred.

The sports betting company is based out of the U.K. but they have a subsidiary in the U.S. called Betfred USA Sports which is who the Broncos signed a multiyear deal with.

On Monday, Denver revealed a multiyear partnership with FanDuel Sportsbook.

Betfred And The Denver Broncos

Unlike the contract signed with FanDuel, Betfred will offer Colorado and Broncos fans a completely different sports betting experience. FanDuel will have an online and mobile sports betting platform geared toward the Denver Broncos and their fans. They will also cover Daily Fantasy Sports (DFS) information for the Broncos.

However, the agreement with Betfred has it all, including an on-site sportsbook for fans to engage in wagering on the Denver Broncos when games are happening.

Outside of the Mile-High Stadium, there will be a sports betting lounge area for bettors to gamble on the matchups. The lounge will serve as a helpful tool for fans 21 years old or older to bet on live-in game bets using the Betfred mobile sportsbook platform while being able to view the most up to date odds within the lounge.

“Through a tailgate activation featuring a gaming lounge adjacent to Sports Legends Mall, we will be able to provide our fans with a new and exciting onsite experience at our stadium,” said Mac Freeman, Broncos Chief Commercial Officer.

Betfred will also be eligible to market themselves in Broncos territories like the stadium, radio, and television advertisements. They can use the team’s branding as well as their own throughout any of these marketing outlets. Betfred will have two sportsbooks in Colorado after they open their Saratoga Casino sportsbook location and three overall in the US with their sportsbook in Iowa.

“Betfred’s combination of a physical sportsbook at Saratoga Casino, extensive retail offerings in Europe, and an upcoming online offering make them an organization we think Broncos fans will enjoy engaging with,” said Freeman.

The Opening

Betfred will open their location near the stadium and their Saratoga Casino location on June 17. The company wanted to break into the market in the Centennial State in a big way and their partnership with the Broncos has allowed them to do just that.

Sports betting in Colorado is getting ready for a huge NFL season for potential revenue as legal sports betting platforms are popping up across the state. They will all be well prepared for the football season and the large amounts of bets on football slated to be seen, particularly with the Denver Broncos.

While Colorado is new to the legal sports betting market, they still managed to get $25.5 in handle for their first month in the industry and that was without a number of professional sports to wager on.

Once organizations begin to make their full comebacks to the sports betting scene, the revenue brought in by sports bettors of Colorado could definitely reach Rocky Mountain highs.
