The original deal focused on Dignitas Super Smash Bros. and Rocket League organizations as well as the women’s CS:GO team.

Dignitas Going Big

Dignitas has been brokering many deals in recent months. The CS:GO team has gotten a streaming deal with Huya, a sponsorship with ExpressVPN, and signed an exclusive trading partnership with SIG.

This new naming rights deal with VIE.gg is just another example of how the organization is expanding its reach commercially, now into the realm of esports betting.

“We are honored to partner with an innovative, multinational brand like VIE.gg,” said Michael Prindiville, CEO of New Meta Entertainment and Dignitas. “Our co-branded CS:GO team and the immense opportunity around esports betting content in our home state of New Jersey enable us to tell unique and engaging stories at the forefront of both esports betting and competition to millions of fans worldwide.”

The Dignitas CS:GO teams’ will now compete in new jerseys that will showcase VIE.gg’s logos as well as the Dignitas logo.

“The partnership’s focus on digital and physical activations in the New Jersey market is ideally timed for us as we move forward on our application for the New Jersey gaming license,” said Grant Johnson, CEO at Esports Entertainment Group.

VIE.gg has also made several moves this year expanding its reach in the legal sports betting arena. Earlier in the year, VIE.gg’s parent company Esports Entertainment Group went public, becoming the first iGaming publicly-traded company on a major US stock exchange.

This naming rights deal with Dignitas is an example of both entities pushing further in the esports betting arena.
