Baker Mayfield

  • Baker Mayfield is owned in 35% of fantasy football leagues.
  • Keke Coutee had just 2% ownership across fantasy leagues.
  • Cam Akers is owned in 30% of leagues.
  • Kyle Rudolph is owned in 15% of fantasy leagues.

CLEVELAND – With Week 12 of the NFL season finally coming to an end, fantasy football GM’s should begin surfing the waiver wire for players to help fill holes on their teams.

There are plenty of players at each position available on fantasy football sites that would offer great value both in Week 13 as well as for the fantasy football playoffs.

Waiver Targets – Week 13
Baker Mayfield, Browns, 35% Owned
Keke Coutee, Texans, 2%, Owned
Cam Akers, Rams, 30% Owned
Kyle Rudolph, Vikings, 15% Owned

Baker Mayfield

Mayfield is a great option for fantasy owners as not only is he coming off of a great game where he put up 258 yards and two touchdowns, but he also has a great matchup ahead of him in Week 13. Mayfield has a date with the Tennessee Titans defense in Week 13 who are the sixth-worst defense against quarterbacks this season. Also, they are coming off of a game where they just allowed 295 passing yards and two touchdowns.

Something else to take note of is that the Browns are in the hunt to make the playoffs which could push his drive even more and makes him a great pick-up heading into the week.

Keke Coutee

For those in need of a wide receiver or solid flex option, players should be looking at Keke Coutee as their first option.

Coutee has made his way up on the depth chart in Houston with Will Fuller being suspended for the remainder of the season. With Fuller now out of the picture, that now leaves Coutee and his running mate, Brandin Cooks to soak up most of the targets being that Randall Cobb has been on IR for some time now.

Also, they released Kenny Stills as well, making Coutee a great flex option on any team.

Cam Akers

Cam Akers has slowly but surely been taking over the running back committee for the LA Rams and has recorded two touchdowns in his last two games.

Akers has been eating away at the rushing attempts of both Malcolm Brown and Darrell Henderson as in his last four games, he has either recorded the most or the second-most rushing attempts on the team. Something else for fantasy owners to keep in mind is that he has hit the Over for his yard total on legal sports betting sites as well for the majority of the past weeks.

With Akers now scoring in two straight games, it is only a matter of time before he takes over the starting role.

Kyle Rudolph

With the tight end position in 2020 being one of the worst it has ever seen, there aren’t many options out there. However, if there were anyone worth taking a flyer on, Kyle Rudolph is that option.

Rudolph is coming off of his best game of the season thus far where he saw eight targets for seven receptions and 68 receiving yards – good for 13.8 points. He also has a great upcoming NFL schedule with a matchup against the Jaguars who rank 8 against opposing tight ends and the Bears who rank 3 against opposing tight ends.

Both teams have allowed opposing tight ends to find the endzone in their last games and knowing this, Rudolph is worth the shot.
