Betfred USA Sports Now Offers Skrill Through Partnership

• Betfred USA Sports will now be offering Skrill’s digital wallet through their Iowa mobile and internet sports betting platforms.
• Skrill has worked with Betfred internationally since 2006 but this is the first joint venture for the two companies in the United States.

LAS VEGAS – Skrill and Betfred USA Sports are both expanding their presence in the U.S. with their latest partnership deal.

Paysafe Group, a U.K.-based internet payment corporation is the parent company of Skrill. Both Paysafe and Betfred are rooted in the United Kingdom and Betfred USA Sport and Skrill are subsidiaries that each want to branch out across the U.S.

A deal such as this one is mutually beneficial to both companies as it helps each to grow their U.S. presence.

Skill In The U.S. & With Betfred USA Sports

Skrill has been making big moves in 2020 nationwide, rolling out three new features with their Skrill Money Transfer, their loyalty program called Skrill Knect, and a Skrill Visa Prepaid Card.

Each addition has not only been an action to further their product but to also make customers’ lives easier when using their technology.

According to the research of the Q2 reports from the year, 36% of Americans used some form of a digital wallet as their preferred payment method with mobile sportsbooks.

Betfred USA Sporttly operates in Colorado, Iowa, and Pennsylvania. Their Nevada operations should be launching soon.

However, through this partnership with Paysafe, sports bettors in Iowa will now have the Skrill digital wallet as an accepted form of payment on their mobile and internet sports wagering accounts. Skrill has been an international partner of Betfred sports wagering products for fourteen years, which has allowed this transition into the U.S. market as partners to be a smooth one as each knows how the other operates.

How It Works

Betfred USA Sportsbook members in Iowa can place funds in a Skrill digital wallet through a number of ways.

Once that’s done, mobile and desktop wagers on any betting lines open with Betfred can be made. All money won can then be immediately placed in the digital wallet for transfer to a player’s bank account.
