The Liberty are ten point favorites in their home opener at WNBA betting sites after a disappointing first round exit last season, but will be without star guard Sabrina Ionescu due to a left foot injury, as well as Satou Sabally who is out with an illness.
The Sun finished one game out of last place in 2025, going just 1-3 against the Liberty in their four meetings. However, only one of their three losses came by double digits, so taking the Sun to cover the 10 point spread may be a worthy investment, especially as the Liberty deal with injuries to key contributors.
The additions of Brittney Griner and Diamond Miller should be an immense help for Connecticut as well.

Washington finished with a 16-28 record last season en route to missing the postseason, so it will be interesting to see how the new expansion team fares against a team who finished in the bottom five of the league last season. Toronto lost both of their two preseason games, but was competitive at the very least, keeping both games within single digits.
It may be wise to bet on the established team before the newly formed squad, though there should be plenty of energy for their home opener.

The Valkyries are five and a half point road favorites against the Storm despite finishing with identical records in 2025, in large part due to the fact that Seattle lost three of their top four players this offseason. Skylar Diggins-Smith left for the Chicago Sky, Nneka Ogwumike signed with the LA Sparks, and Gabby Smith is now on the Valkyries, leaving Seattle with a vastly different team.
Golden State will also add the fifth overall pick from the 2025 draft Justė Jocytė, putting them into a much better position to contend this season.
The best pick is Golden State to cover the spread at legal sports betting sites, as they look to open their season strong in hopes of a playoff push, while Seattle searches for a new identity.
