  • Australian-based gaming operator PlayUp has partnered with Caesars Entertainment.
  • The partnership grants the sports betting and iGaming operator market access in Indiana, Iowa, and New Jersey.
  • PlayUp had initially entered the US by launching in Colorado earlier in the year.

INDIANAPOLIS – PlayUp will be bringing its sportsbook to Indiana and Iowa while also bringing its iGaming products to New Jersey after gaining market access through a partnership with Caesars Entertainment.

PlayUp is an Australian-based gaming operation with a mobile sportsbook and online casino. The company had initially launched in the US by bringing its operation to Colorado.

Now with Caesars Entertainment granting market access, PlayUp can truly expand its offering in the legal sports betting and online casino gambling market in the US.

PlayUp Expands

The company has been a staple in Australia for some time and the move to enter the growing US market has long been on PlayUp’s mind. Launching in Colorado gave them an early feel of what the US market could look like.

In order to expand, PlayUp would need a partner as multiple markets require sportsbooks and iGaming operators to be a part of a casino skin in order to gain market access.

Caesars Entertainment is one of the largest figures in the US iGaming and sports betting arena and already have market access for sports betting in Indiana, sports betting in Iowa, and New Jersey which made the Caesars the perfect partner for PlayUp.

“So, I couldn’t be more excited to share with you that PlayUp has continued to acquire market access,” said Laila Mintas, US CEO of PlayUp. “Now through a deal with Caesars Casino which is a very strong brand. The deal gives us immediate access into Indiana and Iowa and iGaming New Jersey.”

PlayUp has expressed that the US market is expected to become the largest sports betting market in the world and getting market access in multiple states is a must.

PlayUp is just another example of major sportsbooks from around the world looking to enter states with legal sports betting. The US market has become a major attraction to sports betting entities.
