AGA partners with the PGA

  • The PGA Tour and the American Gaming Association partnered to create golf betting content.

PONTE VEDRA, Fla.The Professional Golf Association (PGA) and the American Gaming Association (AGA) have partnered to create golf betting content to educate fans on responsible sports betting.

The content will be a part of the AGA’s Have A Game Plan Bet Responsibly campaign that NASCAR and the NHL are part of. There will also be a golf centered campaign called “Know When To Lay Up” which will be where most of the content will be published. The PGA and AGA will create responsible gaming content on social media and other digital platforms to remind bettors to bet responsibly.

Today’s announcement is a testament to the TOUR’s thoughtful approach to sports betting and marks an important step in continuing to engage all industry stakeholders in our shared responsibility to educate fans on safely and responsibly betting on sports.”

Since the 2018 repeal of PASPA, the PGA TOUR has not been shy about embracing sports betting as a vessel of its sport. There are four major betting operators that the PGA Tour has partnered with since the legalization of sports wager display the sports push to normalize betting.
