    • Network to provide sports betting coverage and analysis.
    • Many other broadcasting networks are jumping into the sports betting train.

NEW YORK – SportsGrid and Sportradar announced on Thursday that they are joining forces to provide a 24-hour sports betting network.

The Partnership

The two companies are using their set of skills to give you accurate sports betting analysis and coverage for professional sports. Sportradar is known for sports data collection, and SportsGrid is known for daily fantasy sports (DFS) coverage.

Sportradar is one of the biggest companies in the sports betting industry. A lot of sports betting providers rely on this company for data. Sportradar collects and distributes official league data to sportsbook providers. Without Sportradar, a lot of providers would not be able to provide you with the odds on a game.

SportsGrid falls on the media side of sports betting. The company’s main focus up to this point was delivering DFS content and they have a couple of different shows for that. President Louis Maione of SportsRadar believes that diving into sports betting content is the perfect direction for the company.

“Joining forces with Sportradar instantly affords SportsGrid with the ability to provide unquestionable best of breed sports wagering programming,” said Maione.

Other Networks Jumping In

These two companies are not the only ones that are planning to provide sports betting content. Plenty of industry giants are shifting their programming to accommodate the new sports betting reality of the country.

The Vegas Stats and Information Network (VSiN) use to be a sports betting network that could only be accessed while you were in Vegas. VSiN is spreading its wings, and they have partnered with Sling TV and the New England Sports Network (NESN) to provide content to a wider range of viewers.

Industry giants are also hopping on the sports betting train as well. Fox Sports and ESPN are now airing sports betting shows during the week. ESPN was once asked if they were ever going to be in the business of taking bets. They ultimately said that is not their place to do so.

More and more sports betting networks are coming out of the woodwork in recent months. Sports betting content is becoming mainstream thanks to these networks. As states all over the country continue to regulate and legalize sports betting, you should expect more companies like Sportradar and SportsGrid to join in to provide sports betting content.
