Rudy Giuliani.

  • Former US Associate Attorney General Rudy Giuliani’s house was recently raided by the FBI.
  • Sports betting fans are taking No at -140 for Rudy Giuliani to be Indicted.
  • Giuliani has publicly addressed the FBI raid, criticizing the reasoning behind the raid.

WASHINGTON – The political betting odds keep coming, now with sports betting fans placing action on whether or not Rudy Giuliani will be indicted.

The former Associate Attorney General was recently on the receiving end of a federal raid by the FBI. The raid was issued for undisclosed reasons, but many of Giuliani’s items including files and hard drives were seized.

Sports betting fans are wagering against an indictment, however, and Giuliani has publicly condemned the raid as being a distraction and response to him having damaging information on President Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden.

Politics In Motion

At BetOnline, the betting line for if Rudy Giuliani will be indicted or not has short odds on No, but the Yes odds are also short enough to show that betting fans are mostly split on the results.

Rudy Giuliani to be Indicted?

  • No -140
  • Yes +100

No being favored is not farfetched. While many members of the Trump Administration and allies of the former president have seen a lot of legal ramifications for their actions during his presidency, most have gone without any real legal persecution.

Donald Trump himself was impeached twice during his presidency and both times was acquitted in court.

Another reason why sports betting fans would be leaning against a Rudy Giuliani indictment is also due to the mystery surrounding the actual raid itself. No report includes why the raid was issued or what the FBI was investigating; only that the warrant was for all electronic devices.

Giuliani’s own public statements could be another thing that has swayed political betting fans with this betting line.

Giuliani has long expressed to having information on Hunter Biden that would expose corruption involving both Hunter and President Joe Biden. The former Associate Attorney General has done everything from tweeting about the raid to public interviews detailing the events and claiming them to be smoke and mirrors for the real issue.

Even so, Yes has +100 long odds, showing that it is not completely improbable for Giuliani to see legal troubles and possibly be indicted as the raid itself proves some form of investigation brought the FBI to the attorney’s home.

In addition to Giuliani, lawyer Victoria Toensing who is close with Giuliani was also subject to a raid. This proves that the FBI has something if they have reason to search her apartment as well.

“Ms. Toensing is a former federal prosecutor and Senior Justice Department Official,” read a statement released by the diGenova-Toensing law firm. “She has always conducted herself and her law practice according to the highest legal and ethical standards,” the statement said. “She would have been happy to turn over any relevant documents. All they had to do was ask. Ms. Toensing was informed that she is NOT a target of the investigation.”

Toesing’s law firm states that she is not a target of the investigation, but her involvement at all may be a catalyst to why sports betting fans are placing so much action on a possible conviction.

Longshot betting fans should not look past these odds, as the results of the hard drives taken in from Giuliani and Toesing could result in an indictment.

This could be a long investigation and as more information is released, the odds at sports betting sites could be affected. Betting fans may want to get in on the action before things change.
