WASHINGTON D.C. – Live sports betting in Washington D.C. is set to enter a new age following the announcement from Simplebet of their “Micro-Market” platform.

Simplebet is a digital sports betting platform that has created a dynamic, rapid form of live betting called a “Micro-Market.”

Simplebet is a sports betting supplier that takes in-game betting to a whole other level. The formula of the platform works via an algorithm that will allow players to wager on the very next event in any live game.

The system will likely focus on real-time prop bets, with wagers like “What will Kawhi Leonard’s next shot be? A layup, two-point shot, or three-point shot?”

Simplebet will offer wagers on the MLB, NFL, and the NBA, and has previously partnered with FanDuel.

Simplebet claims that bettors will be able to wager on markets that are created instantly in response to what is occurring in the game. Lines and markets are automatically generated, with price adjustments happening instantly due to the advanced algorithm in place.

Following a partnership with INTRALOT Inc., the Simplebet system will be available legally for Washington D.C sports bettors at some point in 2021.
