Trump and voting stations

  • David Perdue (R) and Kelly Loeffler (R) are favored in the Georgia Senate race.
  • Mike Pence is favored at +350 odds to be the 2024 Republican Presidential Nominee.
  • No is favored at -225 for Melania Trump divorcing Donald Trump.

ATLANTA – The presidential election may be drawing to a close, but that does not mean there is a lack of betting lines available for political bettors.

Bettors are taking action on the 2024 Presidential Election as well, with Mike Pence being an early favorite to represent the GOP.

The Georgia Senate Race is also garnering a lot of attention at legal sports betting sites, with two runoff races leading to heavy action.

Trumps Lawsuits

Those who took action on Joe Biden to win the presidency and are waiting to cash in on their wins, may be collecting on their wagers soon.

What has held up the official announcement of Biden’s presidency has been the many lawsuits brought up by President Donald Trump accusing many states of voter fraud.

The Trump administration has raised concerns in Pennsylvania, Michigan, Georgia, Arizona, Nevada, and Wisconsin. So far many of his cases have been dismissed or denied, with some being upheld.

In Pennsylvania specifically, Trump has eight different lawsuits filed. So far five have gone through with three more pending. Of the five lawsuits that have made it to court, three have been denied and two have been upheld.

Michigan dismissed one case and has another case pending, Trump’s case in Georgia has been dismissed, and two cases in Arizona have been dropped altogether with one more case pending.

The Trump campaign’s complaints may be running out of steam soon, which is good news for those who bet on Joe Biden.

Georgia Senate Race

With the 2020 Presidential Election Bettors underway, the Georgia Senate race is getting plenty of action placed on the Republican Candidates.

U.S. Senate Election Winner – Georgia (Special Election) Odds

  • Kelly Loeffler (R) -320
  • Raphael Warnock (D) +230

U.S. Senate Runoff Election Winner – Georgia (General Election) Odds

  • David Perdue (R) -440
  • Jon Ossoff (D) +295

For the Special Election, Raphael Warnock of the Democratic Party had the most votes in the initial race. Sports bettors, however, expect Georgia voters to back Kellly Loeffler as Republicans have controlled the Senate in Georgia for years.

This is also why David Perdue is favored over Jon Ossoff in the regular Election. Perdue had more votes in the initial election, although by only 1.7%. Sports bettors expect the remaining votes that went to Libertarian Candidate Shane Hazel to lean Right and vote Perdue in the runoff.

Perdue is looking to maintain his momentum without giving his opponent any chance to sway voters. Perdue declined to debate before the January 5 runoff vote

Underdog bettors should lean in on Warnock’s longshot odds in the Special Election Runoff. Warnock had the most votes in the initial running and he may be able to carry that momentum for the Runoff. As for Ossof, bettors may want to fade his underdog odds and roll with Georgia’s Republican history.

2024 GOP Candidate

Sports bettors are taking action on who can be the GOP candidate for the 2024 election. Currently, Vice President Mike Pence is tied for the shortest odds at online sportsbooks.

Republican Nominee for the 2024 Election Odds

  • Mike Pence +350
  • Nikki Haley +350
  • John Kasich +800
  • Josh Hawley +800
  • Ted Cruz +800
  • Donald Trump Sr. +800
  • Tom Cotton +1200
  • Tim Scott +1200
  • Dan Crenshaw +1400
  • Donald Trump Jr. +1600

Nikki Haley, former South Carolina Governor, also has the shortest odds alongside Pence to represent the Republican Party in 2024.

Haley has been an ally to Trump throughout his presidency, publicly condemning the Democratic party every step of the election, and supporting Trump throughout his claims of voter fraud.

The interesting thing that this betting line shows, is that sports bettors aren’t expecting President Trump to be the one representing the GOP in the next election. Trump’s +800 odds may be the best betting line available, since Trump voters already revealed they want him to run again in 2024.

Melania Trump Divorce

The final political betting line that has sports bettors putting heavy action is on the marriage status of the President and the First Lady if Trump leaves the Oval Office.

Current odds show sports bettors are leaning in favor of the couple staying married.

Will Melania divorce Donald if he loses the election?

  • No -225
  • Yes +160

While sports bettors don’t seem to think the marriage is over, taking the longshot odds on Melania leaving President Trump may not be a bad decision.

Many online rumors of Melania’s unhappiness sparked even before President Trump was sworn in back in 2017. There are constant rumors from those allegedly close to the situation believing once Trump leaves the office she leaves him.

While this entire thing is surrounded by rumor and speculation, longshot bettors may end up cashing in big should a divorce really happen. Melania would become the first First Lady to divorce a President following leaving the White House.

The betting lines are plenty at legal sports betting sites for political bettors. Although the votes have been cast, there seems to not be a shortage of action with betting on the 2020 Presidential Election.
